Speedy Thief

As the name indicates, the Velociraptor was very fast, and as you can see in the picture, walked on it's hind legs. It's teeth could be around a inch (and there about 80 of them!) It had 3 clawed fingers, long legs and 4 clawed toes. In the middle toe of each hind leg there was a 3.5 inch retractable claw, which served as its main weapon. The Velociraptor was about 5 or 6 feet long and 3 feet tall. In 1974, a most interesting fossil was found.... but more on that later.

Joke of the day.

A lady walked into a doctor's office and said "Doctor, I have a awful problem. I fart all the time, they don't make any noise and you can't smell them. In fact, you don't know it but I've farted 20 times since entering the room." The doctor said "this is awful here take these pills every day for a week." A week later the lady came back and said "Docter what did you give me? Now my farts smell terrible!"The docter said "Great! Now that your sinuses are cleared out, let's work on your hearing."

Hahahahahahaha!

Sssssssss!

This is no garden snake! At around 40 feet and weighing 1 ton (Thats a heck of a snake!). This snake most likely strangled its prey and would have been a challenge for a T-rex! It was about as long as a school bus!

King Size Creature

Jaws eat your heart out ! This monster has teeth the size of a human hand! In 1918, lobster fishermen in Australia reported that they were attacked by one that ate most of their catch! Altogether, the Megalodon is something you don't want to meet while swimming.

Another Awesome Lizard

I also learned about Basilisk from Wild Kratts (It's a good show okay!). Basilisk live in trees near the water. When a pretador attacks, it... well... does what you see in the picture at about 5 feet per second. They do this with the help of the long back toes with fringes of skin; as they run, their feet make an air bubble that they can walk on since they're running so fast. They also swim really well when gravity reels them in. Lets see Chris Angel do that!

The Draco Lizard

I first learned about this lizard from watching Wild Kratts with my little brothers, and no, I'm not some weirdo or something. Well, the Draco Lizard is able to glide because of extended ribs that can also retract and steer with there tails. When they want to start gliding they climb a tree then glide down to a different one. To land on the tree, they simply lift up and retract their ribs. I don't care who you are, that's cool!
